  • Vibration is weak
    • Pushing brush down too hard against skin. Place brush on skin and move around in each area while cleaning.
    • Unit is not fully charged. Follow “Before first use” to charge.
    • Brush isn't in place
  • Facial Cleansing Brush isn't charging
    • Check outlet to make sure it is a working outlet.
    • Make sure base is seated properly on Charging Stand. If mode #1 glows red, it needs to be charged. If the mode #1 is white, it is ready to use.
  • How do I change the intensity?

    Press the power button for 3 seconds to change the intensity. Once you cycle past the MAX setting, the toothbrush will return to the MIN setting.

  • Where can I buy replacement heads? Are other brands’ replacement heads compatible with this toothbrush?

    Only Brightline 86750 replacement brush heads are compatible with the Brightline 86700 rechargeable toothbrush. Replacement brush heads can be purchased on Amazon.com.

  • Why does my toothbrush pulse while brushing?

    The Brightline 86700 rechargeable toothbrush pulses every 30 seconds as a reminder to brush each quadrant of your mouth for 30 seconds. After 2 minutes, your toothbrush will shut off.

  • Can this toothbrush be used in the shower?

    No, do not use the Brightline 86700 rechargeable toothbrush in the shower.

  • Can the 86700 and the 86710 rechargeable toothbrushes use the same charging base?

    Yes, the charging bases for the Brightline 86700 and 86710 rechargeable toothbrushes can be used interchangeably.

  • Can I purchase replacement brush heads with a different bristle stiffness?

    Currently, we only have one bristle stiffness option for all of our brush heads.

  • How do I recycle the battery?
    • Remove the brush head from the toothbrush.
    • Place a screwdriver in the hole on the bottom of the toothbrush.
    • Using the screwdriver as a lever, pop out the base.
    • Using the screwdriver, press down on the tabs at the bottom of the handle to break.
    • Press down on the handle shaft to remove the parts.
    • Using a #1 Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screw on the circuit board to remove the board from 4 snaps. Cut the wires closest to the circuit board.
    • Hold the red or black wire and pull up to remove the battery.
    • Return the battery to a recycling center or call 1-800-8-BATTERY to find the nearest retail collection site.
  • How often should I change my brush head?

    It is recommended that you change your brush head every 3 months.

  • How long does the toothbrush last between charges?

    Your toothbrush should last 25 days without needing to be charged when used for 2 minutes twice a day.

  • Can the charger be plugged into a 220V outlet?

    Yes the charging base for the 86700 and 86710 can be used with a 220V outlet.

  • Why does my toothbrush not work?

    If you have just purchased your Brightline 86700 rechargeable toothbrush or have not used it for 3 months, charge the toothbrush for at least 12 hours before use. If it still does not work, please contact us for support.

  • Why is my toothbrush's vibration weak?

    Please make sure your toothbrush is fully charged. If the vibration still feels weak, you may be pressing the toothbrush too hard against your teeth. Place the brush head gently against your teeth to ensure strong vibration. You can also try adjusting the motor intensity by holding the power button for 3 seconds. If you still experience issues, please contact us for support.

  • Why does my toothbrush only operate for a short amount of time, even if I have charged it?

    The charging time may have been insufficient; charge the battery for at least 12 hours before use. If it still does not work, the battery may have reached the end of its life cycle. Please contact us for support.

  • How do I change the brushing mode?

    Simply press the Mode Selection Button to toggle between the brushing modes. The mode you select will be saved for the next time you power on the toothbrush.

  • What is the difference between brushing modes?

    Each brushing mode focuses on a different brushing objective:
    Clean: remove plaque
    White: remove surface stains
    Polish: polish and remove stubborn stains
    Massage: Clean and massage gums and teeth with gentle pulsing
    Sensitive: Gently clean teeth and gums

  • Where can I buy replacement heads? Are other brands’ replacement heads compatible with this toothbrush?

    Only Brightline 86760 replacement brush heads are compatible with the Brightline 86710 rechargeable toothbrush. Replacement brush heads can be purchased on Amazon.com.
